Feasibility and impact study, Société de transport de Laval (STL – Laval Transit Corporation)

The purpose of the study was to determine the future needs of the Laval Transit Corporation (STL) and identify the most advantageous technical and economic solution to meet long-term needs with regards to the fleet of vehicles’ maintenance and storage.

Assignment

Study scenarios identified by the STL, including the expansion of existing facilities, the construction of a new garage, a complementary garage, or a satellite garage
Search for potential sites for the implementation of a new garage, evaluate study sites, and make a recommendation
Recommend the favoured strategy for increasing capacity
Prepare an implementation concept, estimate costs and develop a schedule
