Eastern Train
Train station and parking lot design

fahey+associés was mandated to develop a train station and park-and-ride facility concept within the framework of the project put forth by the Agence métropolitaine de transport (AMT – Metropolitan Transportation Agency).

There were several restrictions related to this project : the protection of wetlands, the mitigation of the installations’ impact on neighbouring residential areas, the management of the installations’ impact on local traffic systems and the development of adjacent lands for residential purposes, all while keeping with TOD principles.

Assignment

• Multidisciplinary mandate involving experts in environment, architecture and civil engineering
• Production of development concepts
• Consultation with municipalities on the proposed developments, the use of certain facilities for municipal purposes, and urban integration measures
• Production of visual material for consultation
• Description of the project
