Vignoble Château Taillefer

Development of the agricultural zone

The Château Taillefer Lafon has 45,000 vines and an annual production potential of 40,000 bottles. The owners wished to use the cellar to host tastings and receptions, enhancing the value of the product offering and making it possible to increase direct sales to consumers.

Under the terms of the Act Respecting the Protection of Agricultural Land and Agricultural Activities (LPTAA), this type of activity is not normally permitted in an agricultural zone and therefore requires the authorization of the Commission for the Protection of Agricultural Land (CPTAQ).
